A high-tech research ecosystem has been created at PGNIU. In addition to powerful areas in artificial intelligence, photonics, chemistry, new materials, and earth sciences, the university is actively creating new interdisciplinary platforms: a laboratory of agrobiotechnologies and innovative pharmaceutical developments.

student adaptation
This is a comprehensive support system at all stages: preparatory department, orientation weeks, supervision and assistance in document processing through a "single window," intercultural festivals (for example, "We are"), creates language clubs, involves in volunteer programs and creative groups.
educational spaces
At Perm University, a network of modern coworking spaces has been created — open spaces where students can independently work on projects, prepare for classes, hold meetings, and generate new ideas for productive work, informal communication, and the development of student initiatives
Comfortable campus
The campus of PGNIU is compactly located on a single territory with educational buildings, sports facilities, canteens, and dormitories, its own Botanical Garden, and a student palace of culture. Here, historical architecture, scientific laboratories, and living nature form a single favorable environment for learning and science
