At the university, there is a Career Center that publishes job vacancies and conducts in-person meetings between students and employers. The Center participates in the All-Russian Job Fair and the Pedagogical Job Fair. It advises students on building individual development trajectories and successful adaptation to the modern labor market.

Mints, MAK "Vympel", the Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, the Russian Federal Nuclear Center - All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics, ITMO, the Pushchin State Institute of Natural Sciences, the Semiconductor Instruments Plant, the Mari Machine-Building Plant, Technotech, Nata-Info. MarGU closely cooperates with leading agroholdings of the region and the Volga Federal District (Lukoz, Semol, Yola, Akashevo). In these companies, students have not only the opportunity to undergo internship and training, but also to find employment during their studies.

MarGU is the only university in the region that trains teaching staff. Our graduates work in state and private schools, educational centers, technical schools, colleges, and universities.
Agroholdings
To acquire practical skills, the Agrarian and Technological Institute of MarGU has its own nutrition plant. The university's partners are PJSC "Rostselmash", ZAO "Sernursky Cheese Plant", agroholding "Lukoz", ZAO "Plemzavod Semenovsky", agroholding "Yola", ZAO "Poultry Factory 'Akashovskaya'".
IT sector
MarGU graduates work in companies specializing in the development, support, and promotion of web and mobile applications, websites, functional platforms for process automation, as well as providing marketing and advertising services, such as Citronium, TravelLine, iSpring, and others.

City and regional clinics are our strategic partners. Medical students undergo internships in 12 clinics and work as middle medical staff after passing a professional exam in their 4th year of university. The university also has agreements with foreign clinics for internships.
