About the training program
The program is aimed at training specialists in the diagnosis, treatment, and medical rehabilitation of patients with various types of addiction. Residents study the mechanisms of addiction development, modern psychopharmacological approaches, and methods of psychotherapeutic correction. Graduates will learn to recognize the symptoms of alcoholism, drug addiction, and substance abuse, provide emergency addiction care, and develop individualized rehabilitation programs. After completing the program, the specialist may work as a psychiatrist-narcologist in addiction treatment clinics, rehabilitation centers, and multidisciplinary medical institutions.
