About the training program
At RUDN University, the Master's programme in Geology has two tracks: “Innovative Technologies in the Exploration and Prospecting of Oil and Gas Fields” and “Innovative Technologies in the Exploration and Prospecting of Solid Mineral Deposits.” The first track provides knowledge of modern geophysical, geological and digital methods for hydrocarbon exploration, data interpretation, reservoir modelling and resource assessment. The second track focuses on methods for prospecting and assessing metallic and non-metallic deposits, the use of remote sensing and geochemical technologies, analysis of the mineral resource base, and management of geological exploration activities.
