About the training program
The Bachelor's degree programme in Sociology trains specialists capable of analysing social processes, identifying patterns in the development of society, and conducting empirical research. The programme combines a strong theoretical foundation with practical skills: students study classical and contemporary sociological theories, master data collection and analysis methods, learn to interpret results and formulate well-founded conclusions. Students take part in real-world research projects (surveys, focus groups, and observations), work with databases (Rosstat, VTsIOM, etc.), and build a portfolio of projects.
What do graduates do?
Students successfully work in a variety of organizations: the largest research and analytical companies;· major international and Russian companies; well-known advertising, branding, and PR agencies; government organizations and administrative bodies, as well as federal and municipal authorities;· personnel and recruitment agencies and diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation; leading educational and research institutions of the Russian Federation.
The professions pursued by graduates include sociologist, analyst, marketing specialist, public relations specialist, manager, human resources specialist, consultant, and others.
