About the training program
Specialization: History and Culture of Circumpolar Countries: Comparative Studies. The program prepares highly qualified specialists in the field of political, social, economic, and cultural history of the countries of the circumpolar world, possessing comprehensive systemic knowledge and able to practically apply it in the study of historical and solving current problems of the development of the countries of the region, possessing skills in scientific research. The program provides knowledge on the history of Scandinavian countries, the USA, and Canada, the history of international relations in the Arctic region, work in archives and museums, and the methodology of teaching history in the Higher School.
