About the training program
Within the framework of the "Computer Modeling of Ship Dynamics" profile, bachelors - researchers in the field of ship dynamics with a high level of computer training are being trained, which will subsequently be applicable in research and design organizations of the shipbuilding industry. The mastery of knowledge provided by the bachelor's program in mathematical, natural science, technical, and humanitarian disciplines is aimed at forming a comprehensive picture of phenomena related to the functioning of objects of marine technology, as well as developing self-study skills that deepen the understanding of these phenomena.
What do graduates do?
Graduates are in demand in the design, calculation, and engineering departments of design institutes, design bureaus, hydromechanics and ship theory departments of research institutes, expertise bureaus, engineering centers of machine-building and shipbuilding productions, at shipbuilding plants and shipyards. Employment directions are as follows: 1. Scientific research - work in research institutes dealing with ship dynamics issues; 2. Shipbuilding - design and construction of various types of ships; 3. Work in ports and shipyards - management and operation of port facilities; 4. Education - teaching in universities and other educational institutions.
