Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- The document is filled out in the student's personal account
Settlement conditions:
- To settle in a dormitory at St. Petersburg State University, students in basic educational programs must submit an application through the Student's Personal Account.
- In the Personal Account, select the "applications" item, then the "application type" field, and select the appropriate name: "for accommodation in a dormitory (out-of-town)" - if you are an out-of-town or foreign student (do not have permanent registration in St. Petersburg).
- Form an application (click the "print application" button, open the file saved in PDF format, check that all personal data is displayed correctly, check the application number and date)
- Attach the application (on the "Documents in the application" tab, click the "create" button, in the opened window, from the drop-down list, select "Document type" - "Personal application (dormitory)". Fill in the fields.
- Save the application (by clicking the "save" button)
- Students under 18 need parental consent for settlement.

Out-of-town and foreign students can settle in the dormitories of St. Petersburg State University, located in three districts of the city: Vasileostrovsky, Petrodvortsovo, and Nevsky. The complex is rightfully considered the largest in the city (13 thousand places). In the University's dormitories, there are relaxation rooms, laundries, cafes, shops, gyms, and playgrounds, and Wi-Fi is available. To ensure the safety of residents in the dormitories, a pass system is in operation. Each resident is issued a personalized pass, without which it is impossible to enter the dormitories. All foreign citizens arriving in St. Petersburg are required to register for migration. If you have settled into the University's dormitory, contact the Migration and Registration Office within three working days from the date of entry and provide the following documents: lease agreement for the residential premises; passport, a copy of the passport with all marks; migration card (if available) and a copy.
