About the University
Tula State University today is one of the leading classical universities in the country, implementing more than 150 educational programs at different levels of study in various fields of knowledge. In the Times Higher Education – 2024 World University Rankings, Tula State University ranks 26th out of 81 Russian universities. International cooperation in the field of science and education plays a significant role in the university's activities. Tula State University is associated with educational organizations in more than 20 countries in academic and scientific areas. The most serious attention at the university is paid to scientific work in its various forms. Research in the fields of biotechnology, ecology, engineering, cognitive technologies, and simulation systems and composite materials is conducted in youth scientific laboratories. Art object "Tail"
Did you know that Tula State University has a talisman? The dragon without a tail has been a symbol of student luck for over 15 years. This miniature art object has long become a unique urban legend. Once, it was even stolen from its pedestal. But it stands and delights Tula residents and city guests to this day.
Burevestnik Stadium
A world-class football field, running tracks, two open universal areas, a cross-fit zone. It is here that the annual World Cup among foreign and Russian students takes place.

UOK "Polytechnic"
The Educational and Health Complex (UOK) "Polytechnic" is a modern recreation base surrounded by a pine forest on the picturesque bank of the Vashana River, which flows into the Oka River. Since 2022, it has been a permanent venue for the Summer Linguistic Schools for Young Researchers "Dive into Science!"

In the student town of TulGU, there are two swimming pools: one with 50-meter lanes and one with 25-meter lanes.
BioChemTechCenter
BioChemTechCenter is engaged in the development of comprehensive interdisciplinary fundamental and applied research in various fields of science: biocomposites, medical biotechnology, renewable biomass and organic synthesis, cognitive technologies and simulation systems, environmental monitoring, etc.
