Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Passport
- Medical certificate (to obtain it, the student must undergo a medical examination at the MSCH of UrFU (Komsomolskaya St., 59B))
- Medical insurance (DMS/OMS policy)
Settlement conditions:
- Lack of registration of the candidate at the place of residence within at least 50 km from Yekaterinburg;
- In-person training under educational programs not exclusively implemented using distance learning technologies or electronic learning.

Additional information
In 2023, a new world-class campus "Novokoltsevsky" was opened at Ural Federal University as part of the federal program "World-Class Campuses." This separate student town is equipped with the latest sports infrastructure facilities (a water sports palace, a stadium, gyms, indoor sports grounds) and cultural and leisure spaces, modern auditoriums and video conferencing rooms, a 600-seat cafeteria, a mini-market, coffee shops, and a medical center. On the campus, there are 5 apartment-type dormitories (with a total capacity of 8,500 people). In addition, the new campus has a multifunctional community center and an educational-scientific cyberpolygon.
