Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Passport and notarized translation of the passport into Russian
- Photos 3x4 (4 pcs.)
- Certificate from the medical institution about the absence of diseases and the absence of HIV, hepatitis B and C, fluoroscopy)
- Copy of the medical insurance policy (if available / can be issued upon arrival in the Russian Federation)
- Order of enrollment (publication on the website)
- Accommodation payment certificate
Settlement conditions:
- Accommodation in university dormitories is being prepared after the issuance of the Admission Order
- The procedure for moving into a dormitory (signing a rental agreement) for students and postgraduates is carried out in the corresponding dormitories, the numbers and addresses of which are indicated in the documents in the Student's Personal Account

The totality of all dormitories at Southern Federal University constitutes a unified student campus. The student campus of Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don includes 5 sectional and 1 corridor-type dormitories built in the 1970s, 6 apartment-type dormitories built between 2011 and 2014. The student town in Taganrog includes 7 dormitories built in the 1950s-1970s. After the issuance of the enrollment order, it is necessary to register in the "Student Personal Account" on the website of the Southern Federal University, and the application for accommodation in the dormitory is processed through the "Student Personal Account." For citizens of near and far abroad, it is necessary to register with the migration service within 3 days from the moment of accommodation in the dormitory.
