About the training program

The bachelor's program is designed in accordance with the priority directions of KFU development. The program is aimed at obtaining knowledge and professionally significant competencies in the field of digital communication, interdepartmental, intersubject, and intercultural communication with the ability to conduct mass communication in English.

What will they teach you?

  • Владение русским и иностранным языком, культурой изучаемых языков и уметь применять полученные знания и навыки в своей научно-исследовательской, прикладной, проектной и педагогической деятельности
  • Создание и редактирование текстов разной направленности (информирующие, продающие, технические)
  • Устная и письменная коммуникация на русском и иностранных языках для решения задач межличностного и межкультурного взаимодействия
  • Осуществление переводов с русского на иностранные языки и с иностранных языков на русский язык тексты из различных областей профессионального знания
  • Создание контента на иностранных языках для размещения в соцсетях, разбираться в актуальных инструментах контент-маркетинга, вести сообщества и digital-проекты на иностранных языках
  • Владение навыками участия в научных дискуссиях, выступления с сообщениями и докладами, устного, письменного и виртуального представления материалов собственных исследований
  • Владение современными инструментами автоматического анализа текста, освоить ключевые методы лингвистических технологий, обучиться использованию, оценке лингвистических парсеров,созданию корпусов и т.д

What do graduates do?

- Scientist (linguistic laboratories, IT companies); - Editor, proofreader (publishing houses, mass media), including texts in foreign languages; - Bilingual speechwriter/copywriter, content marketer with knowledge of two languages (government institutions and services, private institutions and companies); - Translator (Russian-English/English-Russian) (government institutions and services, private institutions and companies); - English teacher (state and private educational institutions of secondary, secondary vocational, and higher education of the Russian Federation); - Press secretary (state institutions and services), etc.
