About the training program
Educational programs in the direction of 05.04.01 are aimed at training masters with a high level of modern professional competencies, capable of analyzing and evaluating scientific achievements, generating new ideas in solving research and professional tasks.
What do graduates do?
-geologist; -geologist-researcher; -geologist-searcher; -geologist-explorer; -expert in geological and economic assessment of mineral deposits; -expert in subsoil use of the state geological service; -expert in forecasting and assessing dangerous geological processes. Graduates can also work in drilling or oil and gas production enterprises, organizations for well repair, storage, or transportation of hydrocarbons. Another possible area is the departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Energy, Gosstroy, and environmental organizations.
