About the University
KSU is the oldest university in the city of Kursk, a member of the Association of Classical Universities of Russia. Currently, the university is a major scientific and educational center with unique research and expert competencies in various fields of science. In KSU, 223 main professional educational programs and 256 additional ones are implemented, and personnel training is carried out in most of the economic sectors represented in the region. The educational infrastructure includes 15 faculties; institutes of economics and management, continuing education, social innovations and technologies, culture and arts; the college of commerce, technologies, and service. KSU is among the TOP-50 best universities in Russia in the natural-mathematical field according to RAEX and in the TOP-100 RAEX. It ranks 58th among Russian universities in all fields of science and 30th in the "Chemistry" field. It occupies the 19th place in the list of 80 universities, the quality of training in which is highly appreciated by experts from the Association of Lawyers of Russia.
