Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Identity document (foreign passport)
- Order for enrollment in NIU "MEI"
- Certificate of fluorography (passed no more than a year ago) and 1 copy of it
- Medical examination certificate, including the RW mark (taken no more than a year ago) and 1 copy of it
- Certificate of HIV absence and 1 copy of it
- Certificate of measles vaccination (or presence of measles antibodies) and 1 copy of it
Settlement conditions:
- The presence of an order for enrollment in NIU "MEI" with the provision of a place in the dormitory
- Presence of necessary medical certificates
- Registration of a residence agreement

The complex of student dormitories at NIU "MEI" includes seven dormitory buildings and a sanatorium-preventorium building. Within walking distance from the student dormitories are the MEI House of Culture, canteens, a swimming pool, the "Energia" stadium, educational buildings, and a scientific and technical library.
