About the training program
Here, students are trained to become specialists with an in-depth understanding of both nuclear physics (how reactors are designed, what nuclear fuel is, and how radiation safety is ensured) and thermal physics (how heat and mass are transferred, what thermodynamics and hydrodynamics are, and how heat exchangers, steam generators, and turbomachines operate). In other words, the program is built at the intersection of two fields: nuclear power engineering and thermal physics.
Graduates must be able to design, operate, and ensure the safety of operating and advanced nuclear power installations.
