About the training program
Students of the profile "Chemical Technologies of Functional Materials" study issues of chemistry and chemical technology of materials of various functional purposes, methods and techniques for creating new materials widely used in industry – chemical, pharmaceutical, light, and others. Simultaneously with theoretical training, students participate in project activities and undergo various types of practice at the institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and at industrial enterprises in Novosibirsk and the region.

chemical research institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, production enterprises related to chemical current sources (OAO "Novosibirsk Plant of Chemical Concentrates"); enterprises for the production of household chemicals (OAO "Sibir"), cosmetic products, plastics, and products made from them (LLC "Plant of Polymer Technologies 'Alpha'), chemical-pharmaceutical enterprises (ZAO "Vector-Best", FPK "Obnovlenie", etc.), enterprises for the production of building and structural materials (OAO "Iskitimcement"), metallurgical enterprises (OAO "Novosibirsk Metallurgical Plant named after Kuzmin", ZAO "Plant of Rare Metals", OAO "Novosibirsk Refining Plant").
