About the training program
The mission of the master's program is to prepare specialists capable of conducting scientific research activities related to the preservation of human life and health, ensuring the safety of the population and objects of the national economy in an emergency situation, minimizing the technogenic impact on the natural environment, through the use of ecologically clean and eco-protective processes and technologies, modern organizational methods, methods of control and forecasting the state of the habitat.

Graduates of the master's program are in demand in such organizations of the city and region as the leading research institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Institute of Catalysis, Institute of Solid State Chemistry and Mechanochemistry, Institute of Organic Chemistry, Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics named after S.A. Khristianovich, Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion named after V.V. Voevodsky), Novosibirsk Research Institute of Hygiene of Rospotrebnadzor, chemical-analytical laboratories of organizations of various profiles, supervisory bodies of federal and regional level (Rosprirodnadzor, Rospotrebnadzor, Rostekhnadzor).
