Admission as part of a general competition

Standard admission procedure for foreign citizens on general grounds. Admission occurs based on the results of entrance tests or on the basis of education documents.

Identity and citizenship document + a duly certified translation into Russian (or a translation of the seal imprint if all the remaining text is in Russian)

Quota receipt

Admission within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for foreign citizens. The number of places is limited, selection is conducted on a competitive basis through Rossotrudnichestvo.

Important information

List of documents required for foreign nationals to apply for admission: 1. Application in Russian 2. Identity and citizenship document, plus a duly certified translation into Russian (or a translation of the stamp impression if all other text is in Russian). 3. Education document, plus a duly certified translation into Russian (or a translation of the stamp impression if all other text is in Russian). 4. NEET certificate (for Indian citizens applying to medical specialties). 5. Certificate of completion of a preparatory faculty (for those who received their education in Iran before 2019). 6. When applying for state-funded places, a compatriot must also submit the originals or copies of the following documents: a statement identifying themselves as a compatriot; the applicant’s parents’ birth certificates; the applicant’s birth certificate; documents confirming permanent residence abroad.
