About the training program
Training in the specialty "Forestry" is aimed at studying issues of management and protection of the country's forest resources, ensuring sustainable development of forests, their reproduction and protection from fires, pests, diseases, as well as the rational use of wood and non-wood resources, using digital technologies and GIS, preparing for work as foresters, forestry engineers, and nature conservation specialists.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the "Forestry" specialty can hold various positions, for example: Forester - responsible for managing forest areas, monitoring the condition of forests, keeping records of timber reserves, and protection from forest fires. Ecologist - engages in research aimed at studying the impact of human activities on forests and ecosystems as a whole. Forest engineer — develops projects related to forestry infrastructure, is responsible for compliance with all norms and standards during project implementation, as well as for organizing safe working conditions in forests.
