About the training program
The program effectively combines theory with skills development through practical workshops at TSU and internships at the Uglich Biopharmaceutical Plant and the Institute of Fundamental Problems of Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IFPB RAS). Its distinctive feature is an individualized pathway that allows students to choose disciplines and combine their studies at the Biological Institute of TSU with work in leading Russian laboratories or in industry.
The core component includes microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioinformatics, and a foreign language. Specialized disciplines depend on the selected track: microbiology, biotechnology, or plant physiology. The program is enhanced by an extensive block of practice-oriented courses.
