About the training program
The Arctic region is at the center of global attention due to environmental, political, and social factors. Processes in the Arctic and Siberia have a tremendous impact on the global climate. Western Siberia is already facing profound changes in its natural environment, which will affect other northern territories around the planet in the near future. As a result, the demand is growing for qualified professionals with in-depth knowledge of these strategically important regions. The master’s program “Studies of Siberia and the Arctic” is designed to meet this challenge by training sought-after specialists to work in the changing conditions of the North.
