Since 2002, the Center for Professional Orientation and Employment Assistance for Graduates "Career" has been successfully operating at IvGU. The main goal of the Center is the adaptation of students and postgraduates of IvGU to today's labor market and consulting.
Employment assistance
Employees of the "Career" Center inform students and graduates about the state of the regional labor market and opportunities for obtaining additional professional education, interact with enterprises, organizations, regional and municipal authorities, territorial employment service bodies, public organizations, university centers for graduate employment assistance, and student labor exchanges. Under the auspices of the Center, the annual "IvGU Career Week" is held, as well as regular presentations by employer companies, informational meetings, educational trainings, master classes, and other events aimed at improving students' adaptation to modern labor market conditions. Career orientation and psychological testing of students, selection of candidates from among students and graduates of IvGU for vacant positions declared by employers, search for vacancies, and ensuring the operation of an electronic database of vacancies are carried out.
