About the University
Kalmyk State University named after B. B. Gorodovikov (KalmGU) is the leading educational and scientific center of Kalmykia. The university offers a wide range of programs in the field of humanities, social, natural, and technical sciences, ensuring the training of qualified specialists for the region and the country. The university is equipped with modern classrooms, scientific laboratories, and a library, which contributes to the development of scientific research and innovative projects. KalmGU actively develops youth policy, supporting student initiatives, clubs, and cultural events, forming active and socially responsible youth. The university's infrastructure includes modern dormitories, sports complexes, and recreation areas, which create comfortable conditions for students' study and leisure.
