About the University
The Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) is a leader in the humanities in Russia.
The University comprises 14 institutes and 26 faculties and offers more than 250 educational programmes in 40 foreign languages. More than 20,000 students study at RSUH, including international students from over 50 countries.
Rector of RSUH: Andrey Viktorovich Loginov, Doctor of Political Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences, author of more than 50 research publications and monographs and books, Chair of the RSUH Academic Council and Chair of the Commission of the Russian Historical Society on higher historical education.
RSUH is ranked among Russia’s top 45 universities according to RAEX (2025), among Russia’s top 35 universities according to Forbes (2025), and is included in the QS World University Rankings by Subject in the humanities.
