About the training program

The “Technical Physics” educational programme prepares highly qualified specialists for every field of modern science and technology in which the interaction of light with matter is used. You will study optics, lasers, photonics and quantum electronics—technologies underlying communications, medicine, precision measurements and defense; you will learn to design and adjust optical and laser systems and work with modern research equipment. You will become a qualified and in-demand specialist for every field of modern science and technology in which the interaction of light with matter is used.

  • Разработка лазерных источников различных типов и волоконно-оптических систем и их применение в промышленности и биомедицине
  • Создание и внедрение в практику современных широкополосных линий оптической связи, сверхбыстродействующих аналоговых и цифровых систем обработки информации
  • Разработка и создание изделий СВЧ акустооптики, акустоэлектроники и электрооптики
  • Создание принципиально новых диагностических, терапевтических и хирургических оптических и лазерных технологий для биомедицинских приложений
  • Развитие технологий синтеза принципиально новых материалов и сред с уникальными физико-химическими свойствами (гетерокристаллических и гибридных органическо-неорганических наноструктур)
