About the training program
The direction of preparation covers the study of issues related to the development of economic sectors, administrative-territorial and spatial economic entities, modern marketing technologies, accounting and analysis, risks, and economic security. As a result of the training, the graduate student will gain a comprehensive view of economic processes and phenomena, master the skills of systems thinking in solving economic tasks.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the "Regional and Sectoral Economics" program (5.2.3)) find application in management bodies, business structures, and scientific and educational institutions where analysis of territorial and sectoral development, strategic planning, and assessment of the economic efficiency of projects are required. They work in state bodies—federal and regional ministries, agencies, and administrations. They are engaged in developing strategies for spatial development, assessing the effectiveness of state programs, analyzing socio-economic indicators of territories, forming regional investment policies, as well as in development institutions and investment attraction agencies
