About the training program
The classic university journalism program at Chechen State University is complemented by practical training in its own Laboratory of Media Equipment and Technologies, as well as at the republican television and radio companies “Grozny,” “Vainakh,” and “Put.” Students enrolled in the Journalism program have the opportunity to undertake internships every year at leading Russian media outlets, such as the next-generation news portal “Life-News” and periodicals including “Kommersant” and “Novye Izvestia.” Starting in their first year, they are actively involved in research projects and conferences. Under the guidance of experienced practicing journalists, students receive a high-quality education.
