About the training program
The faculty trains qualified linguists and literary scholars. Students study Russian and foreign literature, Russian and European culture, and classical languages (Latin and Old Church Slavonic); they learn to work with texts in Russian, Chechen, and English, and use text editors and computer-assisted translation tools. From their first year, they take part in research projects and conferences.
Graduates are in demand in research, education, the media, public service, tourism, and business. This solid academic foundation enables them to continue their studies in postgraduate programs and pursue related professions.
