About the University
The history of the Tuchkovsky branch of MPU began on February 18, 1947, by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the USSR and the Ministry of Forestry of the RSFSR, the Tuchkovsky Forestry Technical College was established. In 1971, it was renamed the Tuchkovsky Automobile Transport Technical College, subsequently acquiring the status of a college. In 2011, the Tuchkovsky Automobile Transport College was reorganized in the form of merging with the Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering "MAMI" as a structural unit. From September 1, 2016, due to the merger of the Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering (MAMI) and the Moscow State University of Printing named after I. Fedorov, the combined university received the modern name "Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education 'Moscow Polytechnic University'". On February 1, 2021, the Tuchkovsky branch of FGBOU VO "MPU" was renamed the Tuchkovsky branch of FGBOU VO "MPU".

The dormitory has 620 places. The student dormitory building is located 50 meters from the educational building. The building is under round-the-clock video surveillance and constant security, with access control. The dormitory building has classrooms for independent work.
Main training building
In the building, there will be an auditorium, administrative premises, lecture and assembly halls, and a buffet.
All conditions have been created in the building for the education of persons with disabilities.
