About the training program
In the process of studying in this specialization, students become familiar with the basics of mining, including methods of mining and processing minerals. They acquire universal knowledge and skills in the field of design, creation, and operation of machines and complexes designed for the extraction of mineral raw materials by underground and open methods, grinding and processing minerals, construction of collectors and metro tunnels in various mining-geological and climatic conditions.

Graduates of this specialization have the opportunity to get a job in the specialty:
1. Mechanical engineer, mechanic, site mechanic, chief mechanic in leading Russian and foreign companies in the mineral resources and fuel and energy complex. 2. Research engineer, design engineer, design engineer, process engineer in research and design institutes. 3. Design engineer, research engineer in Russian and international mining and civil engineering corporations. 4. Mechanical engineer, mechanic in construction companies.
