About the training program

The technology of drilling and well development is a field of science and technology engaged in research, development of scientific foundations, and improvement of the theory and practice of drilling and well development for various purposes – parametric, exploratory, exploration, and operational. The solution of scientific and technical problems in this specialty is aimed at developing technologies and technical means to improve the quality and reduce the cost of construction of all types of wells.

What do graduates do?

The main competencies of the graduate: the ability to plan and conduct experiments, process and analyze their results; the ability to prepare scientific and technical reports, as well as publications based on the results of research; the readiness to report and argue the results of the completed scientific work; the readiness to carry out activities related to the organization and management of technological processes for the construction, repair, reconstruction, and restoration of oil and gas wells.
