About the training program
The educational programme is aimed at preparing a dissertation by a postgraduate student.
To ensure high-quality preparation of the dissertation research, the programme includes the following courses:
a research seminar and research activities, which are held at the L.M. Cherepnin Herbarium laboratory.
Postgraduate students study the disciplines required to prepare for the candidate examinations: History and Philosophy of Science, a Foreign Language, Botany, the Flora of Siberia, and Current Issues in Botany.
The programme includes research practice.
What do graduates do?
The professional field of graduates of this program includes academic and sectoral biological research institutes; institutions of continuing, general and higher professional education, where they work as methodologists, teachers, lecturers, deputy directors for research and methodological work, and directors; state environmental protection services and natural resource management committees; specially protected natural areas; environmental services, centers and organizations (22 organizations in Krasnoyarsk); mass media; cultural institutions; public organizations; and state and municipal authorities.
