About the training program
The direction of preparation is History. The educational program is aimed at preparing a modern specialist-historian with systemic thinking and deep knowledge of the history of Russia, neighboring countries, countries of Europe and America, Asia and Africa, capable of analyzing socio-economic, socio-political processes in the world, explaining their causes, assessing risks, and offering professional solutions to tasks in various fields of activity.
What do graduates do?
A history teacher is an educator who specializes in teaching historical knowledge and skills to students. A historian is a specialist engaged in the research, analysis, and interpretation of historical facts, events, processes, and characters. An ethnographer is a historical scholar who collects, systematizes, and structures knowledge about the cultural and historical traditions of individual ethnic groups and peoples. An anthropologist studies the origin of the human species (anthropogenesis), development, diversity, and biological uniqueness of a person depending on age, gender, nationality, and race. Archaeology requires not only knowledge of history and cultures, but also the ability to work in the field.
