About the training program

Training direction - Ecology and Nature Management. The program is aimed at training professional ecologists who possess a system of comprehensive, interdisciplinary competencies, capable not only of assessing the degree of negative impact of human economic activity on natural systems but also of developing regional, municipal, sectoral, and resource ecological strategies, programs, schemes, and projects, determining trends in changes in the geoecological situation in the region, districts, and cities, and making ecologically and economically justified management decisions aimed at ensuring the ecological safety of the population and the risks of ecological conflicts.

  • Professional competencies of graduates allow them to apply the acquired knowledge in government agencies of the environmental management system; supervision and control; production associations, etc.

What do graduates do?

Graduates work as specialists in state and private organizations: - expert in industrial safety and permitting documentation; - expert-ecologist - a specialist engaged in studying the impact of human activities on the environment; --ecologist-auditor - an inspector in the field of ecology. Works on the introduction of new methods of nature conservation and reduction of negative impact on the environment; - engineer-ecologist - a technical specialist who develops organizational measures and technical solutions to minimize environmental damage to the environment from technological impact; - engineer in environmental protection and safety techniques, etc.
