About the training program
The uniqueness of the program lies in its karstological orientation, which makes it the only one in Russia. Karst is a dangerous engineering-geological process that complicates road, civil, and other construction. Crimea, due to the uniqueness of its natural conditions, is considered a reference region in the world for the study of karst. The program includes the study of other geological processes, such as landslides and mudflows, and prepares students for the scientifically based use of geological, water, and other resources, the improvement of engineering-geological and design-survey work in covered areas, and the territorial organization of the economy
