Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Application for a place in a dormitory addressed to the Vice-Rector for Youth Policy, Social Work, and International Relations of the established form with a visa of the Dean of the Faculty in the presence of an order for occupation;
- Copy of passport
- Copy of the insurance certificate for foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation
- Photograph 3x4 cm (2 pieces)
- Medical certificate of a medical professional advisory conclusion with X-ray diagnostics (fluorographic) examination, laboratory diagnostics, information about vaccinations (with mandatory indication of information about measles vaccinations), with a medical conclusion on the absence of contraindications for living in a dormitory, including foreign citizens
- Written consent of parent/legal guardian (for students under 18 years of age upon arrival)
- Residential rental agreement in the MGIMO student dormitory of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (to be formalized upon check-in)
- Contract for reimbursement of utility services and provision of additional services to a resident of a student dormitory at MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (to be formalized upon check-in)
- Receipt of payment under the specified contracts (payment is made at the bank)
- Order for settlement (with the signature and seal of the head of the UDO). The order for settlement is valid for five calendar days from the date of its issuance (issued upon settlement)
Settlement conditions:
- To move into the dormitory, you need to register on the https://dorm.mgimo.ru website
- After confirming your registration here (https://dorm.mgimo.ru) apply for check-in
- Check-in to the university dormitory will begin on August 25!
- If you arrive in Moscow earlier and plan to stay with relatives, friends, in a hotel or hostel, remember that you must have registration at the actual place of stay, otherwise there may be problems with registration in the dormitory later.

Information on the placement of applicants in dormitories MGIMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Foreign citizens are provided with places in dormitories only upon presentation of a medical insurance policy valid on the territory of the Russian Federation. Parents of applicants are not provided with a place in a dormitory. Out-of-town applicants who need a dormitory declare this when submitting documents to the University Admissions Committee, where they fill out an application form for applicants. The completed application form with the signature of the responsible person of the Admissions Committee and a copy of the passport is submitted to the Administration for Dormitory Affairs. Accommodation in the dormitory is carried out after payment for accommodation. The cost of accommodation for applicants in dormitories is: Dormitory No. 1 "New" — 3750 rubles per day.
