About the training program
In this direction, students are taught modern mechanical engineering technologies: additive technologies, welding and special robotics, computer technologies in design and production, etc. Graduates of the direction are engaged in the technical equipment of enterprises, the selection and mastery of modern technological machines and complexes. Specialists work in design and engineering bureaus, research institutes, central offices of large industrial enterprises in various fields.
What do graduates do?
The sphere of professional activity of graduates: scientific research in the field of: continuous steel casting, hot and cold rolling, powder metallurgy, pipe and profile bending production; development of new processes and equipment for obtaining rolled products; computer modeling of technological processes; organizational and managerial activities, both in the field of developing new technologies and in the implementation of investment projects. Graduates of the department work as leading designers, technologists, heads of departments of research organizations and enterprises of the metallurgical and machine-building industry.
