About the training program
At the direction, specialists are trained in the development and research of optical and optoelectronic devices using modern computer design and modeling tools. Special attention is paid to the synthesis of optical systems, optoelectronic information-measuring devices and systems, IR technology, holography, and optical systems of laser devices.
What do graduates do?
Students of the department undergo internships in the R&D sectors of leading companies, including T8, IPG-Photonics, and development centers of Samsung, Sony, and LG. The educational program of the department also includes a large block of technological internships that students undergo at the largest enterprises in the industry: Geophysics-NV, Lytkarino Optical Glass Plant, and Krasnogorsk Plant named after S. A. Zverev. Students who choose the research track undergo training in leading scientific laboratories of the University, as well as Russian partner universities.
