About the training program
Graduates of the direction are engaged in solving problems of applied mechanics: problems of dynamics, strength, stability, rational optimization, durability, resource, reliability of machines and structures. Students are also trained to conduct experimental research on the study of plasticity and creep of tool steels, to create mathematical models of structure formation and residual stresses.
What do graduates do?
The students' practice is organized on the basis of design bureaus, engineering companies, and research institutes. Among the main partners of the department, the following can be highlighted: Irkut Corporation and other enterprises of the United Aircraft Corporation, the Central Institute of Aviation Engine Building named after P.I. Baranov, LLC "Progresstech", the Research and Design Institute of Energy Engineering named after N.A. Dollezhal, the Institute of Mechanical Science named after A.A. Blagonravov of the Russian Academy of Sciences, OKB "HYDROPRESS", and a number of others.
