About organization
Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI” was founded in 1886 and was the first higher educational institution in Europe specializing in electrical engineering.
Bachelors, masters, and specialists are trained at the University’s 7 faculties. Training is performed under the Federal State Educational Standards: 21 educational areas for bachelors; 54 educational programs for masters, and 2 majors for specialists.
Highly qualified scientific personnel are trained in 42 science majors. The University has 9 dissertation councils in 23 science majors.
The ETU “LETI” Research & Innovation Complex includes a Technopark, 8 research and educational centers, and 5 research institutes.
More than 50 enterprises in high-tech industries are LETI’s strategic partners.

Educational & Scientific Laboratory

MolNII
The MolNII Youth Research Institute is a scientific division performing scientific, research-and-technology, and innovative activities in attracting newly qualified workers and undergraduate and postgraduate students. The primary objective is scientific research and development by young scientists.
MIS Laboratory
The Mobile Intelligent Systems Laboratory conducts developments aimed at establishing a new class of industrial autonomous systems (including logistics, transport, and monitoring) based on AI techniques. It is the largest testing ground in Russia and the second largest in the world.
Library
Today, the library’s collection contains more than a million books and magazines, and the number of registered readers exceeds 12,000 people. In addition to printed publications, the library has publications on electronic media and provides access to domestic and foreign remote resources.
