About the training program

In the course of study for this specialization students learn modern methods of performing high-precision surveys of objects and methods of data processing of various kinds. They get acquainted with systems of development of deposits by open and underground methods, learn methods of prevention of harmful influence of underground developments on surface and underground objects and study means of safety at mining enterprises, and also get skills of basics of three-dimensional modeling of spatial objects and mathematical modeling of processes occurring in rock massifs.

Entrance examinations are conducted in the form of a written examination in a face-to-face or distance format. The duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes). For entrants under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation, passing entrance tests is not provided.

Physics or Informatics

Entrance tests are conducted in the form of a written exam in a face-to-face or distance format. The duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) for Informatics and 3 hours 55 minutes for Physics. For entrants under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation, passing entrance tests is not provided.

Mathematics

Entrance examinations are conducted in the form of a written examination in a face-to-face or remote format. The duration of the exam is 3 hours 55 minutes (235 minutes). For entrants under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation, passing entrance tests is not provided.
