About the training program
In the course of study for this specialization students get acquainted with the basics of mining, including methods of mining and processing of minerals. They receive universal knowledge and skills in the field of design, creation and operation of machines and complexes designed for the extraction of minerals by subway and open pit methods, grinding and processing of minerals, construction of reservoirs and subway tunnels in various mining, geological and climatic conditions.

Entrance examinations are conducted in the form of a written examination in a face-to-face or distance format. The duration of the exam is 3 hours 55 minutes (235 minutes). For entrants under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation the entrance tests are not provided.

Physics or Informatics
Entrance tests are conducted in the form of a written exam in a face-to-face or distance format. The duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) for Informatics and 3 hours 55 minutes for Physics. For entrants under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation, passing entrance tests is not provided.
