About the training program
Our program is a fundamental education in the best traditions of MEPhI scientific school. The program is aimed at training researchers who possess both the methods of fundamental theoretical physics and engineering skills and skills in working with modern supercomputer equipment and the latest experimental instruments. Priority research areas: extreme hydrogasodynamics, atomic processes in systems of reduced dimensionality, hybrid, composite and smart nanomaterials, mass spectrometry.

What do graduates do for a living?
Our graduates are oriented to scientific and industrial activity in the field of molecular physics - this is the physics of atoms and molecules, isotopes, fine purification and separation of substances, mass spectrometry. Education gives graduates the opportunity to work both at enterprises and in research institutions of different orientation. Starting from the senior courses of Bachelor's degree all students take an active part in research work.
