The Rector
Foreign students are full members of our large university family. Over the past five years, the activity of foreign students has increased many times over. Brightly and interestingly, the guys show all Nizhny Novgorod residents the traditions of other countries and develop a dialogue of cultures. At NNSU, the activities of national communities of foreign students are successfully developing. Six of them have already been created – the Syrian, Algerian, Egyptian, Turkmen, Indian, and Latin American national communities.
About the University
Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky was founded in 1916. Currently, NNSU is part of the Association of Leading Universities of Russia and has the status of a "national research university." NNSU has 18 faculties and institutes where Russian and foreign students study. NNSU is a key participant in the world-class scientific and educational center "Technoplatform-2035," the innovative scientific and technical center "Quantum Valley," and the National Center for Physics and Mathematics. On its basis, the world-class scientific center "Photonics Center," the Center for Artificial Intelligence, and the Advanced Engineering School "Space Communications, Radar, and Navigation" were opened.

COPIG
The Center for Educational Programs for Foreign Citizens (COPIG) is a structural unit of NNSU and was established with the aim of developing the internationalization of the university, exporting education, promoting the Russian language and education in the Russian language in the international educational space.
Media Center of NNSU
The Media Center is a base for training journalists. Here, students are taught to navigate the modern media space, and journalist students undergo their practice here. The filming pavilion of the Media Center is equipped with a virtual studio, a teleprompter, studio video cameras, and lighting equipment.
University clinic
The UMK is a structural unit of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, established with the aim of providing medical assistance, improving the educational process at NNSU, including enhancing the qualifications and retraining of medical personnel and expanding the sphere of scientific research activities.
Center for Innovative Development
The mission of the Center is to support innovative projects at the stages of development, implementation, and commercialization. CIR supports educational programs for the training of highly qualified personnel for enterprises, including those based on research and development carried out by the Center's project residents.
Scientific Institutes of NNSU
Six research institutes of NNSU are powerful growth points for the region, drivers of the creation of new technologies. Currently, the university's research institutes have about 500 permanent specialists and about 100 laboratories, where almost all modern directions are represented.

The structure of NNSU includes 6 dormitories where students live. The rooms in the dormitories are equipped with beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes. There is a common kitchen, shower, toilet, and hallway. Laundry and drying rooms are located on the floor. Classrooms and a gym are available for students.
