About the training program

Directions (profiles): Applied Mathematics and Informatics Mathematical Modeling in Mechanics Students receive thorough training in software and mathematical disciplines, which includes the study of: general mathematical disciplines, computer science, discrete mathematics, probability theory and mathematical statistics, programming languages and translation methods, system and application software, optimization methods, numerical methods, game theory and operations research, organization and use of databases and expert systems, mathematical modeling, information theory and coding, information security methods.

What do graduates do?

The graduate is prepared to perform research and other activities in areas using methods of applied mathematics and computer technologies. He can develop and apply mathematical models of processes and objects, develop and use modern software to solve problems of science, engineering, economics, and management, as well as use modern information technologies in design, financial, and management activities.
