About the training program

The overall goal of the postgraduate program in the scientific specialty 1.5.5 Human and Animal Physiology is to form competencies necessary for successful scientific research and pedagogical work in the field of human and animal physiology, for conscious and independent construction and realization of prospects for one's development and career growth, allowing the graduate to successfully work in the field of science, education, management, and be stable in the labor market.

What do graduates do?

At research institutes (including the Russian Academy of Sciences) and universities—as research scientists and teaching staff; in functional diagnostics laboratories—as expert analysts; in sports, adaptation and occupational safety centres—as specialists in assessing functional reserves; and in companies developing medicines, equipment and dietary supplements—as experts and specialists in preclinical research.
