About the training program

The overall goal of the postgraduate program in the scientific specialty 4.2.1. Animal Pathology, Morphology, Physiology, Pharmacology, and Toxicology is to form competencies necessary for successful scientific research and pedagogical work in the field of animal pathology, morphology, physiology, pharmacology, and toxicology, for conscious and independent construction and implementation of prospects for one's development and career growth, allowing the graduate to successfully work in the field of science, education, management, and be stable in the labor market.

What do graduates do?

Graduates become expert analysts and practicing scientists who conduct preclinical studies, toxicological assessments, and develop veterinary strategies. They are in demand at research institutes (including the Russian Academy of Sciences), veterinary clinics and laboratories, universities, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, Rosselkhoznadzor, in the agro-industrial sector, and in forensic veterinary examination. They work as research scientists, experts, laboratory heads, lecturers, and specialists in the development and registration of veterinary medicines.
