About the training program

The overall goal of the postgraduate program in the scientific specialty 4.2.3. Infectious Diseases and Animal Biology is to form competencies necessary for successful scientific research and pedagogical work in the field of infectious diseases and animal biology, for conscious and independent construction and implementation of prospects for one's development and career growth, allowing the graduate to successfully work in the field of science, education, management, and be stable in the labor market.

What do graduates do?

Graduates work at research institutes (the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rosselkhoznadzor, the Ministry of Health), veterinary laboratories (epizootic, diagnostic, and PCR), universities (teaching and research), pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies (producing vaccines, sera, and diagnostic kits), veterinary supervision authorities, biosafety services, quarantine inspection agencies, and international organizations (WOAH, FAO).
