Admission as part of a general competition
Standard admission procedure for foreign citizens on general grounds. Admission occurs based on the results of entrance tests or on the basis of education documents.
Required documents:
A document confirming the previous level of education (school certificate / diploma) with an attachment (transcript of grades) – if necessary, with a notarized translation into Russian;

Apostille / legalization of the document confirming the previous level of education (certificate / diploma) with its transcript (grades), if required;

Certificate of recognition of educational documents in the Russian Federation, if required;

A scanned copy of the international passport with a notarized translation into Russian, valid for at least 18 months from the date of admission to the University;

Copies of documents required to compile a portfolio — achievements in academic and social activities, recommendations, diplomas for participation in academic competitions and research contests — from the past 2 years;

Certificate of completion of the preparatory faculty / certificate confirming Russian language proficiency at level B1 or higher (TORFL-1 certificate) — if available;

A general medical certificate confirming the absence of contraindications to studying in the Russian Federation (valid for no more than 12 months) – with a notarized translation into Russian, if necessary;

Medical certificate confirming the absence of HIV/AIDS (valid for no more than 12 months) – with a notarized translation into Russian, if necessary;

Quota receipt
Admission within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for foreign citizens. The number of places is limited, selection is conducted on a competitive basis through Rossotrudnichestvo.

Referral from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation;

Admission to the Olympiads
Preferential admission for winners and prize-winners of international olympiads included in the list of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The right to admission without entrance exams is granted.
